'Very comfortable hotel.
The fluorescent lighting in the room is harsh and potentially uncomfortable for some people.
The complimentary breakfast is satisfactory.
Instant oatmeal is available but cooked oatmeal wood be much more satisfying and healthier.'

'Staying in room 210 felt a bit like guest-starring in that Seinfeld episode where Kramer can’t escape the glare of a neon sign. There’s a very enthusiastic outdoor light right outside the window that keeps the room glowing well past bedtime, makes true darkness impossible. To be fair, the room itself was clean and looked like it had a recent refresh, so credit where it’s due. If they added better blackout curtains, it would make a big difference.'

'The room itself was clean, lots of maintenance work was needed. The shower and bath faucet were flowing at the same time. The tub was somewhat dirty. There were outlets that needed to be fixed. The bed was comfy though.
Ultimately the stay was okay. It's would have been 100% better if the front end staff were more personable. That's what makes stays more pleasant, helpful and accommodating staff.'

'Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!'
