'We had a very nice time on our stay at this small quiet hotel. We had the Shikibu room and appreciated the spaciousness. It had an outdoor garden view as well as a separate private small outdoor onsen. The onsen looks tiny on first impression but it was nice and we enjoyed the outside seating area too. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice, and definitely get the breakfast. Amazing breakfast! The staff were friendly and very helpful with transportation back to the train station....

'One of our favorite stays in all of Japan! We will be returning for years to come. We absolutely enjoyed our traditional room. The staff who helped us settle in, serve our dinner, and transform our room into a bedroom did a fantastic job and were so kind to interact with. The check in staff was quick and efficient. The check out staff was kind enough to shuttle us back to the station. The entire hotel is kept up so nicely. This spot is a gem if you’re visiting the Mt Fuji, Lake Kawaguchiko area....
