Cottages in Frizington

'We had a wonderful stay at Lake View Cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well maintained, with a fantastic location for exploring the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would happily stay here again when we next visit the Lake District.'

'This was our third visit to Spa Cottages. It is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Parking can be a bit tight, but for the majority of the time we were able to park directly outside the property.'

'Though bijou, it was well designed and the space was very well used. The outside space was good and lovely to have the hills around, We did have problems using the very modern microwave/grill and cooker - It needed DETAILED WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS! and we would have preferred an ordinary electric kettle. A corkscrew, too would have been useful! But, we enjoyed a wonderful 2 days'

'Great accommodation in a lovely little village with fantastic views. Everything you could need to make this a home from home and only a 20 minute walk into Keswick.'

'We have stayed at Millside Cottage many times before and it's a favourite of ours. Cottage is very homely and well equipped. It was great to see that the shower has been upgraded. One suggestion is that the new Wood burner is not that practical to use as there is no companion set, or at the very minimum an available poker. Having a fire at home, we know that sometimes you really need a poker to "re-adjust" locations of logs within the fire to ensure that they are sat correctly.'

'Great location just outside Cleator Moor. Plenty of parking'

'The house really makes the most out of its space. Really comfortable and modern yet still cosy. Everything is new, clean and well thought out. Having the downstairs toilet outside is a bonus and also the outhouse with washing machine, drier and freezer - it just frees up so much space. The house instantly feels spacious even though it is quite a small footprint and the garden is beautiful and secure. My parents live in Braithwaite so I know it well and it really does have everything, including...

'Plenty of room for 4 adults & an excited Springer spaniel. Great to have a dog friendly garden - not always the case when advertised as such! Lots of walks from the doorstep. Local shop sells delicious cakes to take on walks!'

'Excellent company to book with , all arrangements were very straight forward . A nice touch is supporting the local food bank with excess food t the end of your stay. Property was as described , well equipped and in a fab location .'

'I've been staying in holiday lets in Keswick for many years and I'm pretty sure that this is the best I've stayed in. Great location in the middle of Keswick, and happily my favourite restaurant in town is on the ground floor of the building! Very well presented with an amazing kitchen and fantastically well-equipped (so many places don't even have one pint glass, let alone 6!). A few days into my stay the latch on the main entrance to the building was loose and likely to fall off soon - I...

'Great cottage in a very good area outside Keswick. Comfortable, good for walks , car trips to other places . Would recommend.'
