Cottages in Freshwater Bay

'We spent two weeks in this lovely cottage. It was very peaceful and quiet. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, especially the homemade bread. Tim, the owner,, made us so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful large garden. on our return from a day out.On the last day our ferry had been cancelled and Tim was there to help us. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.'

'Highly recommended beautiful house located in a lovely quiet road. The house has lots of room and is clean and bright. The house is fully equipped including indoor and outdoor games and is a great stay for families. A lovely well kept garden. The location is beautiful, clean and picturesque. Short walk to local shops and village pub. Walking distance to Bembridge beach. Local residents are friendly. We will definitely stay here again on another visit to the Island. '

'Very enjoyable stay and a good size for four people. The only thing was on the first day we found it quite tricky to find and the taxi circled a few times.. however the property was clean, comfortable and very accurately represented.'

'Brilliant House, in a great location, and all ten of us had a wonderful holiday!However, as we booked for Christmas week, we paid a large premium, and didn’t expect to find stained sofas with rips in, and essentially a lot of wear and tear (this is not the place to list them, but think dirty blinds etc) that should not be in a property sold as “luxury”. 'Grove Lodge was the perfect choice for our family of 8 adults celebrating my father's 100th birthday. The ground floor ensuite bedroom was perfect for him. The house was clean and very well equipped. As we had goodcweather we were able to enjoy the lovely private garden. We were met by Lee who was very friendly and gave us lots of useful advice about the area.'

'Seaview is a lovely quiet village with a couple of easy walks to a number of beaches, parks and wetland reserve. Brilliant pub on seafront and fab ice cream shop, both 2 to 3 mins walk. Accommodation was set back on a quiet street. Lovely private garden. Kitchen well stocked for home cooking. Beds comfortable. Loved all the paperbacks. No upstairs bathroom but not a problem with a family group.'
