Article 1: Definitions
1.1 Guest: any person staying as part of a reservation.
1.2 Host: the owner or manager of the accommodation hosting the guests.
1.3 Accommodation: space, lodging, or property made available for the stay.
Article 2: Maximum Number of Guests
2.1 The maximum number of guests authorized to stay in the accommodations are set at 4 people. This number includes adults, children, and infants.
2.2 Adding any additional guests beyond this number is prohibited without the host’s prior consent.
Article 3: Requests for Exceptions
3.1 Under exceptional circumstances, a request to increase the number of guests may be submitted in writing to the host at least 7 days prior to the arrival date.
3.2 The host reserves the right to accept or deny the request based on the property’s capacity, local regulations, and availability.
Article 4: Respect for the Premises
4.1 Guests agree to keep the premises clean, tidy, and in good condition throughout their stay.
4.2 Disruptive activities, excessive noise, and any form of damage are strictly prohibited.
Article 5: Penalties for Noncompliance
5.1 Failure to comply with the limit on the number of guests or the rules regarding respect for the premises will result in penalties, which may include, but are not limited to, financial penalties, immediate eviction without refund, and/or legal action.
Article 6: Amendment of the Rules
6.1 The host reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Amendments take effect immediately upon notification to guests.
Article 7: Acceptance of the Rules
7.1 By making a reservation and staying on the premises, guests fully and unconditionally accept these rules.
Article 8: Security Deposit
8.1 Security Deposit Requirement: A security deposit is required from all guests prior to occupancy of the premises. This security deposit covers any damage, loss, or breach of this contract during the stay.
8.2 Amount: The security deposit is set at 500 € and must be paid to the host no later than 15 days before the arrival date.
8.3 Refund Conditions: The security deposit will be refunded in full within a maximum of 10 days after departure, provided that no damage is found and that all rules have been followed.
8.4 Deductions: In the event of damage, loss, or violations, all or part of the security deposit may be withheld. The host will provide a detailed inventory as well as documentation of the costs incurred to repair the damage, replace lost items, or cover additional expenses related to rule violations.
8.5 Disputes: In the event of a disagreement regarding deductions from the security deposit, both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before taking legal action.
These rules are established to ensure the well-being of all parties and respect for the premises. All guests are encouraged to behave responsibly and respectfully during their stay.
Article 9: Commitment to Environmental Responsibility and Energy Management
9.1 Principles of Environmental Responsibility: Travelers agree to adopt eco-responsible behavior during their stay, particularly with regard to the use of heating, air conditioning, and other energy-consuming equipment.
9.2 Rational Use of Energy: Heating and air conditioning systems must be used rationally and responsibly. Travelers agree to:
Not exceed the recommended temperatures of 20 °C (68 °F) in winter and 25 °C (77 °F) in summer.
Turn off the heating/air conditioning when they are not in the premises or when the windows are open.
Use energy-consuming equipment only when necessary and in an efficient manner.
9.3 Reducing the Energy Footprint: Travelers are encouraged to reduce their energy footprint by turning off lights, electronic devices, and other equipment when they are not in use.
9.4 Penalties and Fines: Failure to comply with eco-responsible principles and energy management guidelines may result in financial penalties and/or other sanctions depending on the extent of the excess consumption and the environmental damage observed.
9.5 Awareness and Training: The host agrees to provide guests with all necessary information for the eco-responsible use of equipment and to encourage environmentally friendly behavior during their stay.
