« We all enjoyed our stay for our Dad's 70th Birthday. The pool was used constantly! The house was very clean, well equipped and beds comfortable. The grounds and surrounding areas to the property are beautiful. Alan, the host was good at communicating and replied very quickly to any queries I had. My only gripe, which didn't detract from the stay at all, would be plastic cups for the pool area and maybe some pictures and ornaments throughout the house to make it feel more homely. Thank you...

« Friendly welcome and Dougie the owner couldn’t be more helpful. We arrived wet and frozen on bicycles cycling NE 250 and didn’t expect much but whole place is amazing. Accommodation is clean and has everything one needs for comfortable stay. Big bonus is games room. One of THE BEST places we have stayed. »

« Das Haus entsprach im groben unseren Vorstellungen, ist doch die Gegend nicht gerade mit tollen Häusern gepflastert. Der Ausblick aus der Küche war fantastisch zu jeder Zeit. Leider waren die Matratzen in beiden Zimmern extrem schlecht. Wir würden deshalb nicht unbedingt wieder kommen »

« The property was one of the best we have stayed in. It was well equipped with good quality items. The situation was very private so no disturbance. It was very comfortable and we liked the supply of excellent quality bath robes. Our only negative was the garden which was not nice.The patio area was full of weeds and could have done with some maintenance and perhaps some pots with shrubs or flowers to brighten up the place »

« Very comfortable stay in this cosy cottage .A lot of thought has gone into all the details & furnishings and we all had a lovely stay. A lot of "extras " supplied which we have not had in other holiday properties Village was very quiet but we Knew that beforehand and that added to the "charm" Just enjoyed watching the Surfers ,the waves,and walking on the beach »

« An excellent glamping site with a chilled atmosphere and lovely landscape. We stayed in the Wheelhouse which is perfect for 2. It was rustic with nice basic facilities. The wee on site shop had ample supplies (bring cash for it). The area was lovely to walk around and we enjoyed the fishing hut community hub. We enjoyed our stay and loved the quirky site. Would definitely come back. »

« A perfect, peaceful stay in a magical wee cottage. Extremely well equipped and the wee extra special touches just made our stay even better. The location is perfect for exploring rural Aberdeenshire and the coast. Ally & Jason are warm and welcoming hosts and couldn't do enough for us. « Our GPS in the rental car wasnt working properly, so finding the cottage was a bit tricky to find, but once we did, oh my! What a great little place! Right on the water, with spectacular views- sunrise on the North Sea. The owner was easy to reach by phone and email. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed. »
