« The pictures are not an accurate representation of the cabin. We knew it was rustic, but the pictures made it look clean, which it was not. Obviously the cabin hadn’t been opened for quite awhile, there were spiders and cobwebs in the bathtub/shower. There was also the smell of gas as soon as we opened the door. The carpets were terribly stained and the bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned. Needless to say, we did not stay there and went back into Winter Park and rented a motel room. We paid to...

A local highlight was the Indian/Nepalese restaurant; the authentic dishes and chai tea are a must-try. Communication with Wendy was seamless; she even went out of her way to meet us in downtown Boulder to return a shirt we’d left behind at the cabin. »

« The location is excellent and we loved the true cabin feeling. This is a true old fashioned cabin and was exactly as described. The location could not be better because it is located within a small aspen grove, so it feels more remote and secluded than other options this close to town. It is also a short walk to Main Street, the beach, food, and endless hiking trails. Also walking distance to the market, if you need snacks or food. « Wonderful cabin, we could not be happier with this rental! Wayne keeps a very clean and tidy space, with thoughtful touches. We especially appreciated the bath robes and guitar for some morning comfort & evening entertainment. Having access to a washer & dryer was also a big plus during our stay. The location was perfect for us; it was wonderful to have a quiet, peaceful retreat to come home to each day. Thank you so much to Wayne & Brigitte for hosting us! »
