'The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.'

'This property is AMAZING!!! It is private but yet within a short drive to restaurants, shops, and beautiful outdoor waterfalls/rivers. It is very well furnished, well decorated, and the landscaping is beautiful. Such a peaceful and wonderful get away!!!! The owner was so gracious and helpful with booking/check in and any questions. 'We had a great time at this property and very convenient to town and close to other towns to visit . We had to cut our time short but I am sure if were ever go back to Sylva NC this would be a place I would rent again. Everyone was very friendly.'

'We loved the wide open view of the sky over the mountain. We watched the sun set while we sat in the hot tub. This little house is just 3 miles from the Hemlock Falls trail, which is gorgeous and ends at a swimming hole. The house is clean, comfy, and a great getaway from the city. '

'Adorable, cute and very clean. The management was great whenever I needed anything it was just a phone call and they handled it. Would def recommend. Only downfall was the noise level outside but that’s not really anything the property could control. '

'Such a nice property! Relaxing, comfortable, and cute decor. We stayed here to be close by to ride the Smoky Mountain Railway and it was 5 minutes from here. The deck was my favorite thing. We were treated to some great music coming from a venue below in town, being it was a Friday night. Loved it! I hope to return and will be staying here. The host was wonderfully thoughtful and helpful.'
