'Zeer hartelijke ontvangst door Sebastián bij de receptie. Leuke Cabana. Het terrein bestaat uit een prachtig landschap gelegen op de noordelijke flank van de vulkaan Rincon de la Vieja en bestaat uit een schitterende zeer grote botanische tuin, diverse natuurlijke baden, hotwatersprings, een natuurlijke sauna en modderbad. Alles binnen wandelafstand. Het personeel is erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk, wij waren hier 2 nachten en vonden het heerlijk.'

'Very friendly owner of the place. She didn't speak English, but we were able to communicate nevertheless. Breakfast was good. On the day of check out we had to leave very early, she was so kind to cut us some fruits for take out the night before. The hotel is very close to the entrance of the national park. '

'What an awesome experience! The very friendly and attentive staff really add up to this beautiful and relaxing place. Especially the area with volcanic heated hottubs, surrounded by the forest, is spectacular. The horse riding tour which ended ziplining on the compound is a must. Had a lot of fun with the guys, who where true professionals! We will come back for sure!'

'It was our first time visiting Costa Rica. The stay at Lucky bug B&b was nothing short of awesome. It's run by Rob and Monica who were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast is prepared by Monica herself, and she could be the best cook in town! The property itself is very serene, lots of birds chirping early in the morning. We truly enjoyed our stay in this little paradise. '

'Amazing family-run hotel. Eric & Cécile do a great job at making their guests feel welcome and at home. Only two rooms on the finca, located a short walk away from Eric & Cécile's own house. Next to the house is a small pool and a seating area where breakfast is served. That breakfast is a real treat, freshly baked bread, home made jam, tea/coffee or hot chocolate, eggs made to order ... . You can really ask for nothing more in a hotel. The finca itself is beautifull with lots of trees, flowers...

'Comfortable cabin in a bit secluded area, in the Costa Rican rainforest. We love peacefulness, quietness and close-to-nature location. Our cabin was clean, spacious, with well functional bathroom and veranda facing wall of lush green rain forest. Tasty breakfast. The managing person is very nice, speaks no English though.'

'The room was amazing! Beautifully arranged and all the amenities, the best was the porch overlooking the trees and the birds, breakfast was great. It’s pretty far from La Fortuna and most activities and wr didn’t rent a car. The host did drive us but we were limited in what we could do. '

'The most friendly crew ever! Friendly upon arrival, during frog search in the evening, … We have done a couple of expensive night tours but did not by far find as many beautiful frogs as in their garden.'

'Je krijgt persoonlijke aandacht van Pippa, de eigenaresse. Het ontbijt is een belevenis op zich, heerlijk eten op een prachtige plaats, waar alle vogels uit de buurt voor je heen en weer vliegen. Een plaats om helemaal tot rust te komen.'
