« Wow! Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and thoroughly well-stocked with high-end appliances and utensils. Check-in/ check-out was a breeze as was communication with Chris. « My family was very happy with our stay at the Elk House. I understand why this location has such high reviews. The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable, attractive, and was in a quiet, relaxing location. I wish that we had seen elk during our stay, but it was still nice to sit on the front porch to enjoy the view. (Be forewarned that the large field surrounding has many slugs lying in the damp grass in the early morning.)There is a master bedroom on the main floor that has a queen bed. There...

« This property exceed our expectations. The furnishings in the house were high quality - comfortable beds, good kitchen appliances and gear for cooking, bathrooms nicely updated, etc. As others note, the location is unbelievable -- we walked down to the river several days to fish or watch the sunset, we walked a few steps to the 1mile trail in ONP to the Mora Ranger Station, or we enjoyed just walking around the property enjoying the mature trees.
