Looked abandoned! Tried to extort money for damages!
This was a rundown ranch in a rundown neighborhood! Please read the entire review and save yourself the headache of dealing with this renter! Upon arrival, I was entirely uncertain that I had received the correct address. The "grass" was a foot tall and there were weeds everywhere. The house itself is quite run down. It is what we would call a "landlord special" where I come from in Michigan. I could go on about the cleanliness, but just know we walked into a house that felt like it had just had a surface cleaning. Nothing was deep cleaned. The linens and towels are low quality and becoming threadbare. Can't figure out why it advertises a Jacuzzi. There is definitely not one present. There is not even a usable backyard. All of the kitchen utensils and dinnerware are dollar store specials. They are very low quality and damaged from previous renters. The house quality does not reflect the price to rent the property. Aside from location, this house gets 80-100/night anywhere else in the U.S. The owner had an Amazon package delivered to the home while we were there, and asked us to just take it inside when questioned about it. Tacky!But the icing on the cake is when they requested 75 for a missing bowl, burned spatula, and broken toaster. These cheap items were damaged on arrival, and I have no use for a 2 bowl. When I stated that I had video and photo evidence, the renter / caretaker backed down from their strong arm tactic! Great location, terrible experience!
