'It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist. We had numerous calls trying to get someone to help us and everyone informed us they couldn’t help us until 4 o’clock when we could use a code that would be emailed to us privately to get into the hotel. 'This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. It does not take six hours to clean a unit. Also, the stay requires a download of an app, but we did not receive check in information (just an email with a broken link) so...

'We stayed in a king suite facing the harbour. The view was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The entire space was immaculate. We appreciated the extra information provided on check in. MSS proximity to restaurants, shopping, and the ferry terminal made it easy to leave our car at home. Would highly recommend this property.'

'While the check in process was nice, the desk clerk was friendly, and the camper was clean, the Wi-Fi and TV didn't work in it, and the lock didn't work from the inside because the deadbolt didn't align to the strike plate. In fact, it looked like the strike plate was attached to the frame with cardboard. I could've lived without TV, but with poor cell reception, no Wi-Fi was a challenge and then with the inability to lock the door from the inside, I ended up leaving. I imagine if we got one...
