« The Cabin is absolutely off grid offering total seclusion. The host was great, offering assistance for what ever we might need both prior to and during our stay. For those willing to stretch their legs, there is great hunting and fishing with in a 20 minute ATV ride away from cabin. ATV trails go for ever. The elk hunt was a great success. We scouted, hunted hard and had great success. »

« The room was very clean and everything we needed was available. It looked like it had just been renovated. Everything looked new. The fridge was quite big and the stove had a good oven we used. Bathroom was recently remodeled and everything was very clean. Bedding and towels were new and good. We especially enjoyed the stand alone air conditioner. « We chose The Western Hotel after seeing the photos online, as the rooms looked nicely updated and the location seemed perfect for our one-night stay in Steamboat Springs. Unfortunately, the property didn’t quite live up to what we expected based on the photos or the price. The location is definitely a highlight—it’s very walkable and convenient to town.
