« A lovely property in a very quiet location. We stayed here last year too and since then, plantation shutters have been added to all rooms. The master suite is huge and has a lovely bathroom. The room with the fireplace is very cosy and we used it a lot as it was very cold and raining during our stay. In warm weather there is a lovely verandah in the gardens. « There was only one fly in the ointment regarding the stay. There is a set of shelves in the garage which are situated pretty much where most driver doors would open. My friend couldn't open her driver door at all. I managed to get my door open but while trying to carry my bag into the house I connected with the shelf corner splitting my forehead and causing a scary amount of blood to pour forth. I managed it with ice and loo paper and after sticking plastering it for the two days it has healed...
