'I called the day before saying we would be checking in late, and to request a crib. We were told it would not be an issue. After a long day of travel, we arrived around midnight and checked in. It appeared we were placed in the wrong room - we were supposed to get a King suite and were given a double queen - and without a crib. I'

'When we arrived and were assigned our room there was an unusual smell and we believed it was coming from the AC unit. We originally thought is was temporary but unfortunately after 30 minutes the smell was still quite overwhelming. We had taken our concerns to the front desk. They were genuinely concerned for us; profusely apologized and instantly assigned a new room to us. My family and I decided if we were going to return in the future to visit our relatives, this would be the hotel for us....

'Room was great. We had a small kitchenette in ours and it had utensils and pots to use. We didn’t need them but it was nice to have them.'

'Very clean room, super nice staff. The breakfast was top notch (try the lemon or churro flavored waffles, they were outstanding!) It’s a nice quiet hotel and I felt very comfortable there. When I visit my family in East Lansing, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.'

'We liked everything about our stay....although we didn't take advantage of the breakfast, fitness center, or pool.....There is a bar on site(which would have been nice to have open longer, *but there is an Outback right next door to the hotel) We travel to Lansing yearly and we will definitely be staying here again. ***We even had an alert to take shelter for a tornado while we where staying here. The staff made sure to call all rooms for those who didn't receive the alert of their phones....

'It was nothing special. Front desk staff was fine when they were there but there were many times it wasn't obvious that there was anyone working. Decor shows signs of wear and is a bit dated. Breakfast was really mediocre - like I could have gotten a better meal from vending machines.'
