'Excellent hotel all around. The lobby and rooms are in great condition - it's surprising that the building is about to undergo renovations in late 2026! The front desk and breakfast staff were great. Location is very quiet and convenient. I would definitely stay here again.'

'The room okay. The carpet felt dirty on bare feet. I did not like that we didn't get room service or the option for room service. The had a sticker on the bathroom mirror that said you would get room service every 3 days, which we were only staying 3 nights - no room service for fresh towels, get our trash, etc. Everywhere else I have been, they offer daily room service if I chose.'

'I called the day before saying we would be checking in late, and to request a crib. We were told it would not be an issue. After a long day of travel, we arrived around midnight and checked in. It appeared we were placed in the wrong room - we were supposed to get a King suite and were given a double queen - and without a crib. I'

We originally thought is was temporary but unfortunately after 30 minutes the smell was still quite overwhelming. We had taken our concerns to the front desk. My family and I decided if we were going to return in the future to visit our relatives, this would be the hotel for us....

'The room we had secured through Expedia was not available when we got to this hotel. There was a host of issues in this hotel one was the floors were absolutely disgusting. I had to buy a swiffer mop to mop the floors after getting on my hands and knees and using a whole tub of Lysol wipes on the floor in the kitchen. Maintenance came into my room while we were in the room and when asked to leave, he refused to leave. It took three times and dropping an F bomb to get him to leave my room. Then I...

'Very clean room, super nice staff. The breakfast was top notch (try the lemon or churro flavored waffles, they were outstanding!) It’s a nice quiet hotel and I felt very comfortable there. When I visit my family in East Lansing, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.'

'Rooms were clean. Had a couple of bathroom issues that were taken care of immediately. The bed was comfortable. The pool was just warm enough and clean. The pool area was clean too. The breakfast was good - waffles, Danish, fruit, cereal - hot and cold . The eggs and meat varied by day. Coffee was good. Most of the staff were very friendly. 'It was nothing special. Front desk staff was fine when they were there but there were many times it wasn't obvious that there was anyone working. Decor shows signs of wear and is a bit dated. Breakfast was really mediocre - like I could have gotten a better meal from vending machines.'
