'Excellent. Stunning location. Surrounded by water. A real get away from it all property. Huge plot surrounded by the river which wraps around the site, under and adjacent to the house. Watch kingfishers from the kitchen. Fish for pike, perch, trout and chub in the river which is teaming with fish. The interior is much better than the photographs suggest. There is little to do in the village as it is a very rural area but there are limited facilities in the next village Dampierre-sur-Boutonne...

'We absolutely loved our stay at this place with the whole family! The house was really clean and had al lot of space for everyone to spread out comfortably.The pool was honestly the star of the show as we spent hours in there and it was perfect for both the kids and adults. Location-wise, you get the best of both worlds as it is peaceful and quiet, but only 10 minutes to the shops where you can grab anything you need.One thing that really impressed us was how helpful the house manager was. 'Dit was een heerlijke plek. Er is zoveel ruimte dat je elkaar zelfs met 18 personen niet in de weg loopt. Op de warme dagen vind je elkaar bij het zwembad, de pingpongtafel, in de grote tuin of bij de ingebouwde bbq. Op koudere dagen is de fijne grote keuken (met twee ijskasten en twee vriezers) een gezellige plek om te zitten. Er zijn zoveel kamers om uit te kiezen. Eigenaar Patrice is ook een prettig persoon. 'Tolles Haus, wunderschönes Anwesen mit Park. Eigener Fluss mit Kanus,die Möglichkeit zu Fischen, Volley Ball, Badminton, Trampolin. Schöner Whirlpool/ Schwimmbad. Wir waren mit 23 Leuten da zwischen 6 Monaten und 60 Jahre. Platz war für alle, gut eingerichtete Küche und Esszimmer für gemeinsame Frühstück und Abendessen.
