Vacation on Folly Beach

All was professionally handled from reservation to first quality house with all the necessities/fully equipped. Very close to town, restaurants and beach. Very comfortable furnishings and electronics. Great kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of living spaces.

Awesome house with high end furnishings

Better than pictured - house was excellent and better than pictured and professional property management team. It is worth heating the pool. Stayed in late May and they were still doing some small construction to finish off house but a non issue for us.

New house

This house was new and very clean. We loved the lay out!! It was so nice that house hold items were included, papertowels, soap, etc. The only 2 down falls was the pool was constantly dirty from the over head tree, but it was spring and the tree was shedding, and the furniture was not very comfortable, hard cushions. The location was awesome for a 3 min walk to the beach, or a 20 min drive to Charleston. The location of the house allowed us to try nice restaurants every night in Charleston. People walked by this house and stared or pointed fingers because it's so pretty to look at. I highly recommend staying at this house. Communication with the property manager was easy.

Perfection!

We had a wonderful time at The Ohana House. Plenty of space for our group of 4 ladies and 2 small children. Loved the decor and the layout of the house. There is nothing I would change. The location is the best for walking practically anywhere. We had a golf cart, but honestly rarely used it, except to take chairs and toys to the beach. I never do this (because I like checking out different properties), but I would stay at The Ohana House again! Anything else would be disappointing.

Beautiful home and location

This house is so spacious and stunning from top to bottom! Our family had a wonderful stay and enjoyed both staying on the property and taking advantage of the space/pool, while also being able to just take a quick walk to the main strip of shops/restaurants in Folly. The location is so convenient - would definitely recommend!

A fantastic vacation

I no longer use hotels for vacation, only VRBO homes. Who wants the hassle of a hotel with your family. Not me. Sometimes when you look at pictures the homes don’t live up to the experience, sometimes they match it and few times they don’t do the home it’s proper justice. This place is incredible! Simply spectacular. We had 7 in our party and the house could not have managed our group better. The two master suites are quiet, and super comfortable, the walk to the beach is a short 4-block walk, the walk to town is about 6-blocks. The house is very well appointed. There was not one utensil we needed that wasn’t there. The deck area is super spacious and all the TVs were great for watching some fall football. It was a great, great experience. The majority of the food places in Folly Beach are 3.5/5 but Rita’s is hands down the best. Great food and great service. Nice job Stay Duvet. We will be back for sure.

Clean and New

Awesome property we had a great time. Sonos surround sound was a good plus. The property was very clean with a lot of natural light. You can walk to the beach but we rented some bikes. The only negative the property didn't have any beach gear to use.

Great House/Great Location

We enjoyed the newly constructed property just minutes from the beach and restaurants. We were able to use the newly finished pool. The landscaping was still underway while we were there, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Lives up to its billing!

This place was amazing and absolutely lived up to its description and photos. The design and attention to detail are amazing. The location was great. The concierge service was responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend renting bikes or a golf cart for ease of getting around the island. We rented bikes and it let us travel further down the beach easily to avoid crowds. You can ride your bikes on the beach during low tide as well! Easy walk to the restaurant and bar area and about 8 minutes by car from the full service Publix grocery store. Easy day trip to Charleston as well. My family didn’t want to leave!

What a gem!

I brought my two children (5 & 8) for a long weekend about a month ago while my husband as swamped with work- boy did he miss out! The house was just perfection. My hat goes off to the owners & their eye for detail. We all felt right at home and everything was just top notch. It really ruined us- as did Duvey. This was our first experience at the house and with this particular rental company and it most definitely will not be our last. Duvey really elevated our stay so a level that I doubt will ever be met by anyone else on Folly Beach (and hasn’t been in the decade we’ve been vacationing here). The kids were devastated to leave (I was too!) and haven’t stopped asking yet when we are going back. We cannot wait to return, especially when the pool/bar construction is complete. Beautiful all the way around. Walk to the beach was only a few minutes and took us right by Berts Market- very convenient. My only recommendation would be to please add a drying rack to the laundry room for delicate items that need to be hung dry. We found everything else we were looking for during our stay, from the extra blankets to the tea & honey in the cupboard. Thank you for such a lovely weekend! We will be back.

Absolutely stunning house in perfect location

The Ohana House was everything we could have dreamed, and more! The spacious open floorplan on the first floor is the perfect space to gather with friends and family. The kitchen had everything we needed from pots and pans, wine glasses, grill tools, platters, wine fridge, everything. We grilled one of the nights on the brand new grill that's hooked up to a gas line (no propane tank needed). The deck is spacious, with plenty of space to eat meals and enjoy being outside. The pool wasn't done yet when we were there but once it is, that will be such an amazing feature. The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable. The location was an easy walk to the beach, and to the restaurants and shops. We are already talking about when to come back. Thank you for a fabulous trip!
