  • Geniet van een andere van Folly's Best vanaf deze perfecte locatie aan de oceaan. Uitgestrekte split-level deck neemt in alle weergaven met ruimte om te dineren, lezen en zonnebaden. Grote ramen omsluiten de eethoek / veranda met dezelfde panoramische uitzichten. Uit de serre is een ongelooflijk groot terras met stoelen en een afgeschermde veranda. De gezellige grote kamer beschikt over een open haard van centrale baksteen en biedt uitzicht op de oceaan en de keuken. Onze winterhuurders kunnen lekker liggen bij een warm vuur met het gemak van op afstand bedienbare gasblokken. Toegang tot het strand is direct naast de deur over een korte promenade. De master suite heeft een queensize bed en een eigen badkamer. Twee kamers met twee bedden delen een tweede badkamer. Het huis is versierd met originele aquarellen van lokale kunstenaars en een huurder op lange termijn. Het ligt op iets meer dan 1,5 km van Centre Street, Folly's drukke hoofdstraat met eclectische winkels en restaurants. Je bent dichtbij genoeg voor een wandeling of fietstocht, maar ver genoeg om te genieten van onze vredige retraite. U hebt uw B.F.F. gevonden - Beach Folly naar huis!

    Goed opgevoede, vlooien behandelde honden kunnen met u meegaan in afwachting van goedkeuring en kosten voor huisdieren. We hebben het ras en de maat van uw hond (en) nodig voorafgaand aan de goedkeuring. De huur omvat twee eigen parkeerplaatsen.

The views from the deck and sunroom cannot be beat! Just amazing! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the beach. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Would stay here again with my family.

Would rebook this place in a heartbeat! Location, layout, amenities, cleanliness all 11/10. Kitchen and linens were the best stocked of any vrbo I've ever stayed. Bathrooms are a little small, but that is the only negative. Access to the beach is literally next door and the huge back deck feels like being on the beach too. Rental management was great, check in/out made super easy, they even stopped by during our stay to make sure we were satisfied.

Me and my girls

Rounded up my daughter in laws and daughter and we did a girls stay at Folly. The home was perfect for us and our pups. Quick access to the beach, town, and a beautiful porch we spent the evenings looking at the Milky Way.

Perfect location right on the beach

Location and view from deck are great. House needs some TLC, but overall comfortable and gave us what we were looking for (some quiet beach time).

Outstanding spot

Wish there were more of these in the World. This spot has a phenomenal ocean view (unencumbered) and takes pets. We enjoyed our time there very much. That said, it could be even better with a little love and maintenance - still, and outstanding spot if you can book there.

Amazing views

The property is dated and could use new furniture. The rugs in the house were old and worn out. The view and deck are the main reason we picked to stay there. And it was a Beautiful deck area!

The hoist stop by UNANNOUNCED, at the midpoint of our visit, with a some what suspect story that she had a part for the coffee machine! The two bathrooms were only accessible by going thru a bedroom, no powder room.

Last week of May, 2026. An older, nice, clean house. Very nice outside area to sit and see ocean. Pros: *Beautiful view on porch, and also in the sunroom inside home. *Kitchen had a nice frig with water and ice in door, nice mugs and plates, along with newer washer and dryer next to kitchen. *Comfy chairs and couch in sunroom. *AC worked very wellCons:*Stove is older and a little hard to use. *Queen bed needs a better mattress, other single ones seemed to be fine according to fellow travelers. *Has a counter and small table but no big table to have family meals. * Needs some new umbrellas outside and furniture in house, needs new beach umbrellas *Needs a mirror in the one small bedroom. *Home has lots of steps so elderly people may not be able to handle it. *Next to public access to beach. (It was okay but there is a lot of activity so be aware)*Please note it leaks above the stove when it rains.

It’s a beach house

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and had a fantastic time. The weather was phenomenal so we were on the beach or on the deck all day and into the evening. Bedrooms, bathrooms and ocean view dining area were great. The only drawback was the “common area” and fireplace furniture - it felt like a disjointed hotel lobby with too much big stuff. Keep the couch in front of the fireplace but perhaps some brighter /lighter furniture would make indoor time much better. Otherwise - this place is great.

Wonderful location but over priced and very dated. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was in a great location. Master needs a new mattress STAT. We could’ve stayed at the Ritz for a week for what we paid for three nights at this house, but again the location was great. Folly is awesome and we love the all the quirky beach bungalows, but this one pushed those limits. Very, very dated.

Beauty of the ocean

Our first visit to Folly Beach, SC. This property is adjacent to the boardwalk out to the beach, such easy access. Enjoyed the sun room that looks out onto the beach and collects up the warmth of the sun all day. Handy outdoor shower under the house and a hose which was great for cleaning sand and salt off our dog after daily romps in the surf. I am missing our time there already. Only drawback to the property is that two of the three bedrooms have twin beds. Not so good if you have two couples vacationing together.

Beach vacation before back to school

We really enjoyed this place. The private back deck was amazing. The house was so close to the beach access. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. It Felt very home like. Few things I would say in the fix column would be about updating the appliances. Our TV box wouldn't work in the master bedroom, however they did promptly bring us a Roku stick and resolved the problem. I would have liked the smart TV option in stead, like the kids had in their bedroom. Was very spacious and comfortable and would recommend.

Great location, perfect home layout

We love Folly Beach in the winter! It is so wonderful to explore a beach town when it’s at its quietest. This home sits on a road behind the main drag, right in the beach so all you hear is waves and no road traffic. With a big deck perched high enough to see over the dunes and a screened in porch, there are plenty of places from which to enjoy the view. It was just two of us but the set up would be great for families or group of friends.

This is a great beach house that is close to town but far enough away that the beaches aren't crowded. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful house and location, but obstructed views and congested public access

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the "Me The Sea and Bobby McGee" beachfront property. The kitchen and baths were updated, though small, and there were enough nice, white towels and toiletries for all of us. We also appreciated the variety of seating to enjoy each other's company, the artwork, and the views. I selected this property because of the split-level deck and the beach access, but the screen on the screened-in porch was ripped, and there were not enough umbrellas to go with all the nice patio furniture. We let the hosts know in the check-in message on the first night, but never received a response. Moreover, the shrubbery overgrowth around the property was not as maintained as the photos led me to believe, and obstructed the beachfront view from the deck. I also did not realize that the nextdoor beach access was through a public parking lot and boardwalk, so there were people passing through all day long. Finally, we were expecting to use the outdoor shower pictured on the listing, but the gate was locked and we received no information on how to access the area. Instead, we bought a bucket to use as a makeshift option. Regardless, we had a wonderful time and liked the house and its location.

Fun

House definitely needs refreshing, dishwasher works but not installed properly. TV in guest bedroom does not work. All the umbrellas are broken. Shrubs around the back of the house all need cutting and shaping as they block part of the ocean view when sitting. Otherwise the views were stunning.
