Positief: Netheid, personeel en service en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Pro: location is great. Walking distance to a lot of attractions. Lots of food, restaurant, and shopping close by.
Con: two big cons. 1. No air conditioning. The staff told me they needed city approval to turn on a/c for the whole building. I don't know if that is the truth since I am not local. However, I stayed in a Rome apartment before this and a Venice apartment after this. The Rome appt initially did not have a/c either. But after I asked, the staff turned it on for me the next day. In Venice, I didn't even need to ask and there was a/c when we arrived. I checked the chic stay website and a/c was listed as an amenity! 2. The apartment is AT a market and next to a square in front of the medici chapel. The area is very noisy. We cannot open the windows because of the noise at night. Even when all windows are closed, we can still hear muffled noises. Around 6am in the morning, the street vendors start pulling their carts to the street to prepare to open. We can hear heavy wheels rolling on the cobble stones very clearly. One night at 2am, a group of people screamed and yelled in the square for almost half an hour. So, without a/c and cannot open window at night because of noise are a big minus. I will look for another apartment next time when I come to Florence.
