Nature Getaway in the Heart of Rural Texas
Welcome to our peaceful retreat, tucked in the woods and just minutes from the lake. This is a true country setting, where you’ll walk grassy trails, drive down dirt roads, and be surrounded by trees, wildlife, and the natural beauty of Texas.
Please note: The property is hilly, and it’s a walk down to the lake, to the ponds, and to most areas on the land. It’s not recommended for anyone with mobility issues or those who may have difficulty navigating uneven terrain.
It’s a perfect spot for couples looking to unplug, slow down, and reconnect. Watch the sunset, stargaze by the fire, or enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by nature. Whether you`re celebrating something special or simply craving quiet time together, you`ll find it here.
Expect to experience the seasons — it’s hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and the weather can shape the landscape with overgrowth or erosion. We maintain the property, but nature always has a say.
We love our wildlife neighbors and we work to preserve their home.
As part of this natural setting, you may encounter bugs, spiders, poison ivy, snakes, and other woodland critters. We encourage guests to be aware and respectful of the environment around them. If you appreciate the outdoors, you’ll feel right at home.
We’re dedicated to preserving the Natural Texas Ecosystem. Our property is a safe habitat where local wildlife can thrive and raise their young. During the growing seasons, the landscape can be a bit wild or overgrown, which is part of our commitment to keeping things as natural and untouched as possible.
We also farm organically on the property and aim to stay chemical-free. The presence of spiders and lake bugs is simply part of life here—it`s all part of the charm of an authentic Texas lake and woodland stay.
But if you`re expecting a sterile hotel experience or a bug-free zone, this may not be your ideal fit. Dirt on your shoes and the occasional scratch from a tree branch are part of the adventure.
If you`re ready to unplug, explore, and enjoy the raw beauty of the Texas wild, we’d be honored to host you.
