'Great place for a quick getaway '

'We had a great time at the property! We enjoyed cooking on the grill, making smores in the firepit, and eating dinner on the porch with a view of the lake ahead of us! The lake was just a short walk down a trail, but the catfish were biting (I caught 25 in all) and it was super peaceful. Our hosts communicated with us throughout the stay, and it was a great stay overall! We'll definitely be back'

'Beautiful property! The cabin (more like a rustic house—I mean this in a good way!) was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The only thing I would recommend is a handrail for indoor stairs. We had a short but wonderful stay! We will definitely return when we have more time.'

'This was our second stay at this property. The small footprint of the house is compensated for by the design; Very compact but attractive with the design. Perfect for two people. The ladder to the sleeping loft was very easy to use for this 83 year old. We enjoyed being in the woods and using the fire pit. Hope to stay again soon.'

'First time experiencing a Post Card Cabin and it was just what I wanted to celebrate my Birthday and Anniversary…a relaxing retreat! The cabin looked exactly like the pictures. It was clean and so stinking cute!! The hubby and I really enjoyed until a coyote tried to sneak up on us but even still that didn’t ruin our night. '

'What a hidden gem. The cabin is super unique, fun, and affordable. Really loved our stay here. Hosts were welcoming and communication was easy. The best part was the 2 livestock guardian dogs who are gentle giants. They hung out at the cabin with us a lot during our stay made us feel welcomed and safe. The whole place is a DIY paradise. '

'Everything was great except figuring out which cabin we were staying in. Need to have cabin name on it or a number on it. We had other guest stopping at our cabin trying to find out where their cabin was .The cabin was so cute. Loved the whole experience. Met Cindy that cleans the cabins. She was very helpful and nice. Our dogs absolutely loved exploring the woods and relaxing on the deck with us. Everything about the place was cozy and well thought out. We’ll definitely be booking this spot again!'

'I was looking for a few days of weekday retreat and found it. There were a few other guests on the property but it still was quiet and peaceful. If you're looking for an escape from Dallas Fort Worth that's not an all day drive then this is it!'
