'The houseboat was in a great location for exploring all of Amsterdam. Very close to metro and tram stops to visit museums and get to other parts of city. It was quiet and peaceful on the canal and we enjoyed our stay. Albert and Anna had coffee pods for morning cuppa to get out the door and were gracious to let us drop our luggage until check-in and we started our explore of city while preparations were made. 'Sehr schönes Hausboot mit allem Drum und Dran in attraktiver Lage! Wir waren zu Viert, sodass eine Person auf einer Matratze im Wohnbereich schlafen musste, das sollte man sich also überlegen, aber das war auch so im Inserat angegeben. Durch den Gastgeber wurden wir sehr nett begrüßt, er hat uns auch gute Tipps zur Urlaubsgestaltung gegeben und wäre bei Fragen auch stets erreichbar gewesen. Die beschaulichen Orte in der Nähe von Stavoren kann man gut mit dem Fahrrad erkunden. Probleme hatten...

'We had a great longer weekend near Amsterdam. The owner were very friendly and helpful for the start of our staying. The houseboat is perfectly equipped for a couple and very comfortable. With the two bicycles, part of the houseboat, it was very easy to reach city centre'

'We really enjoyed our stay at the water villa. Aalsmeer is a lovely area and the villa was well appointed and very comfortable. 'Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage auf dem schönen Hausboot! Es ist wirklich der reine Luxus dort. Wenn man reinkommt, ist es zwar sehr heiß, aber da man alles aufmachen kann, kühlt es auch schnell ab. Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. Dafür muss man dann um 10:00 Uhr morgens schon wieder draußen sein, das finde ich etwas knapp. Man muss auch alles ordentlich und sauber hinterlassen, es wird...

'Ein schönes und gepflegtes Hausboot mit schöner Lage. Alles im allen war es ein schöne Erfahrung auf dem Hausboot, leider muss ich eine negative Sache anmerken. Leider hat bei uns der Mülleimer sehr starke nach Aschenbecher gestunken, dieser Geruch hat sich leider Tage gehalten. Zumindest immer dann wenn man die Schublade zur Mülltonne öffnete. 'We very much enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic!!! Many of the canals can have a lot of foot and bike traffic, especially at night. This location is close to everything, but on a quiet canal. We loved the funky old boat, but I would caution that the photos might be unintentionally misleading. 'I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!'
