Heaven Bound - Todd, NC

Long Range Vistas AND New River Access! Heaven Bound is situated majestically, ridge top between Boone and West Jefferson, near the Blue Ridge Parkway and historic Todd! Plenty of space to unwind on the front covered porch with 4 rockers and New River views.
Large covered and uncovered back deck with Adirondacks, porch swing, and 5 burner gas grill for cooking out. Inside, the vaulted great room offers plenty of seating and a 42 inch HDTV with surround sound, DVD, VCR, & 6 disc CD changer. Cuddle up next to the fire on the cozy loveseat and enjoy your favorite movie. Kitchen completely equipped with ice-maker, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and everything you need for a quick snack or an elegant meal. 6 person dining table and breakfast bar. High chair also provided along with various board games for children and adults. Master bedroom offers full private bath and Satellite TV. Second master also offers full bath. Large deck, patio with a 67 jet hot tub, and picnic table.

Take a short drive down to the river access for fishing, swimming, kayaking or picnicking. Just around the corner is River Girl offering; kayak, canoe, tube, bike rentals, and fishing guide trips . Heaven Bound is easily accessible off Railroad Grade Road...best known for its 10 mile stretch along the scenic New River great for a family bike ride.

Great views

The property is on the top of a mountain with amazing views. From the front porch you can see the new river. Its about 30 minutes to boone and about 30 minutes to Jefferson/west JeffersonThe hot tub is outside with no direct access to the inside so you have to walk back up the hill to re-enter. They had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

So beautiful !

What a lovely site for a weekend of relaxation and fun! Even after the horrendous storm in October the mountains are returning to their natural beauty. The house was cozy and warm and perfect for 2 couples. The view was amazing. We had easy trips to Boone and West Jefferson.The house was very clean and comfortable.The real rental agency was very easy to work with.

Awesome views! House was spotless!

April 4-7 we stayed at this cozy little house on the mountain top. The house is an older house which could use a little updating, but was extremely clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the hot tub is down stairs with nowhere to dry off or get to a bathroom without going up two flights of stairs and through the house. Both bathrooms have tub/shower combos which would not be suitable for older people or those with balance issues. The views from this house are incredible! Too bad it was freezing cold the whole time we were there and we couldnโ€™t enjoy the hot tub!

Amazing view and so relaxing

Many great things to say about this rental, location, views, hot tub, and communication and support of the manager. The only criticism I can think of is some furniture updates would make it more comfortable than it currently is to stay/sleep in and more enjoyable aesthetically-only comfort really matters to me though.

We spent the weekend at this cabin for my SO birthday. The views were great and the hot tub was so nice after a really cold hike we had at Grayson Highlands. Everything was clean and we had what we needed there.

Great property

We loved the place, me and my wife loved it so much we discussed if they would sale the place. Lol. Probably the only down side would be the couch and the love seat. A lil outdated and not very comfy. Other then that wet loved the place. My wife was saying what she works so if we did buy it. Again lol. We would stay there again. We did take advantage of the hot tub at night. Awesome views!!!!! We will be back!!!!!!

The overall stay was really good. My only issue was the beds were very uncomfortable. The master bed could use new mattresses and a sturdier bed frame. Also I believe the towels and washcloths should be replaced. Perhaps make them all white
