'This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. It’s also very close to Appalachian State University. We stayed and went to a football game at the college then came back to relax. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Laura the host was very accommodating too. We will be back. I highly recommend this lovely Farmhouse. '

'This property was a great choice for a first-time stay in a tiny home. The drive up to the property is worth it for the beautiful view. The property beside it is closer than I thought but the guests staying there were friendly. The house was clean and was stocked with anything we could’ve needed. The host is great and provided all information we needed for our stay. The grass area in front of the property was perfect for a picnic dinner, and the loft area was so cozy and perfect for watching...

'Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia.'

'The cabin was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay, parking was ok, the walk back from town was up a hill! Beware that you hear the neighbors in the adjoining cabin so I guess they can hear you! Not a problem for us as were up late anyway.'

'We come to the area annually to visit our family and only wish we'd found this spot sooner! Clean, convenient and spacious. We have younger kids and a dog and the park across the street was a great bonus, too. Easy access to all that the area has to offer. "One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
