The room was not properly cleaned, and basic amenities like soap were missing from the bathroom. While the swimming pool was decent, it did not make up for the overall experience.The property did not match the specifications listed on the website, which was disappointing. Additionally, the rooms and bathrooms did not have proper locks, which is a serious safety concern. After we reported this issue, the host sent a handyman to fix the locks across all 10 rooms, which reflects a lack of basic preparedness and responsibility.At check-in, we were instructed to wash dishes, leave towels and sheets in the room, and remove the garbage. We followed all these instructions carefully.However, two days into our stay, the host returned claiming that bed sheets were missing and charged us extra for cleaning. This was unfair, as we had complied with all the given instructions. He also incorrectly stated that we had not removed the garbage, which was not true.Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

Everything about the host and this home was simply outstanding, from the pool room to the space and all the accommodations. Plenty of space, activities and extremely responsive when there was any questions we had. My family and i have been doing these trips such as this and this home and host is by far the best. I am truly thankful for their hospitality. We will definitely be using other homes from this host in the near future.

The kitchen and dining area was perfect for fixing our Christmas dinner and dining together at the large table. The family room was spacious enough for all 16 of us to watch our Illini game together. We very much enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well, and the sleeping quarters allowed us to spread out and sleep well. Looking forward to going back.

Our family of 18 had an incredible stay for our Christmas gathering. This house is perfectly designed for large groups. The absolute highlight was the 20-foot dining table. It is rare to find a place where the entire group can sit together for a meal, and it made our trip special.The kitchen is the most well-stocked rental we have ever visited. With double ovens, double fridges, and every tool/appliance you could possibly need, cooking for a large group was easy. We also loved the layout. The separate Caretaker’s Cottage was helpful for those of us with young children, providing a quiet space for naps and a secondary kitchen for baby bottles.The amenities were top-notch. The indoor pool room is a great hangout spot with plenty of seating, and the hot tub was fantastic. The house was clean, the linens were plentiful, and the property itself is beautiful and private.The property managers were absolute professionals. Extremely responsive, helpful, and clearly dedicated to providing a first-class experience. We’ve already talked about booking this again for future trips with other groups. If you are looking for a high-end, stress-free home for a large family getaway, this is it!

The property was perfect for our large family. The children's play house was the hit for our younger children. We loved having the caretakers home for some of our family. The two bedrooms by their self was perfect for families with small children. All in all it was a great time! The only thing was finding the place! It absolutely does not go on our GPS. We drove by the place 3 time's before my daughter stood out at the road. It needs a large sign by the road! It looks like a driveway going to another house! The pool and hot tub were a great hit! Wonderful memories were made!

The property was perfect for our gathering! The kitchen had everything pot, pan, and dishes we needed. The 3 cabins were very nice! The whole facility was welcoming, clean, and provided spaces for all of us to gather! The location was close to everything we wanted to do. Everything was great. We did have a little trouble with the wifi. The only other issue was the smell of the well water while showering. Otherwise, it could not have a better set up for our wedding party; access to our wedding venue was only about 15 minutes away. We were also able to simulate our rehearsal easily. The pool and hot tub were great for the chilly evenings. Thanks for a great host!

We’ve all used VBROs for years. This venue was perfect for a family reunion. We entertained family from CA; TX; VT; NC; OH and MI. The double commercial stoves in the main home along with 2 large refrigerators were perfect. The place was clean and gorgeous. The layout was lovely. The outbuildings perfect - the caretakers cottage incredible. We enjoyed the outdoor grills, games and the fabulous fires. The children’s playhouse was perfect - stopped in to enjoy the petite house. Everything was thought of; the staging was lovely. Everyone enjoyed meals together in the dining room. We enjoyed sitting on the deck. We enjoyed golf; sightseeing- South Haven; Saugatuck and Holland. The double sinks and double dishwashers made clean up easy. The front porch of the main house proved ideal for family photographs. Best family compound ever! Michael is a stellar host with fabulous properties, punctual staffing and Carrie is a fabulous manager.

We had a wonderful week in Glenn. The house was large, beautiful, clean and very well-appointed. We had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful week with family. We had two minor issues while we were there, and Michael and his team were very helpful and responsive! Would definitely recommend!

This house is everything you see in the pictures and much more. The indoor pool is fantastic, especially if you have kids with you. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the large dining room table. The location is perfect as it's a quick drive to South Haven and Saugatuck. The hidden gem is the Glenn Convenience Store for any last minute needs you have. They also have good pizza and sandwiches. We would definitely stay here again.

Memorial Day Reunion

We had the most amazing time this past Memorial Day weekend at the compound. It felt like a luxury summer camp and was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The indoor pool and hot tub were quite the hit and we were very grateful to be swimming when the weather was chilly outside. They also have a beautiful fire pit area and a corn hole area nearby. We are already trying to plan when to come back. Michael was extremely communicative the entire time and was a great host.

Bethlehem Eastern Trumpets

Staying at Crawford on Adams Family Compound was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean, and Michael was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommended this place for any families who would like to have a family vacation where they’d love to be together and share. Adams Family Compound has a main house with an indoor heated pool equipped with towels that we enjoyed. To the side of the main house were cabins that are a few feet away from the main house with awesome showers. The house is equipped with a huge dining room that accommodates everyone to share a meal. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of cooking utensils and all we needed was just buy groceries. We had plenty of space to sleep, the showers were spacious and were all equipped with clean quality towels with wash clothes and soap in each bathroom. Another thing that stood out is the hospitality of the host. One of our family members accidentally left the car key behind after checkout, and when we inquired, the host responded within minutes with a picture of where the key was located. The next day he mailed it to us promptly. Again, I highly recommend this place and would like to stay here again.Note: The only thing I would recommend to the host is to change some of the door locks, especially the one for the bathrooms. Other than that, the place is cozy, clean and welcoming. Thank you, Michael!

Cousins Weekend

We stayed at the Family Compound for our annual Cousins Weekend and had an amazing time. The main house and cabins were all beautiful. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. We had a group of 15 people and still had 2 empty bedrooms and never felt crowded. We loved the huge table in the dining room. There was room for all of us at the table. We even called it the “last supper table”, as it was so big. We will absolutely stay here again!!

Very well appointed and thought out property for entertaining large group we gathered as a large 27 group extended family to celebrate my parents 50th. Kitchen and common areas were great and the indoor pool area was a hit with the kids!

Great stay!

We loved this place! It was perfect for our large family get together. We had 9 kids 2-8 and the indoor pool was perfect for keeping them busy! We also brought snow gear and they played outside on the playground - the playhouse was a big hit! Everything was very clean and we had plenty of space between the main house, cottage, and smaller cabins. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and even was helpful after check out, offering to mail back an item we forgot. We had all the basics we needed and had a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend!

Family Thanksgiving

Our multi generation family of 18 spent Thanksgiving weekend there together. Plenty of room for everyone and the cottages helped give time away when needed. So many hooks for towels was great for the pool. Kitchen was well equipped but one oven kept shutting off which made cooking for a big group difficult. Otherwise we had a great time! Sp manyh9ka

Great family reunion

We chose this place to have our family reunion. Couldn’t have been happier. The indoor pool was wonderful as the weather had cooled off while we were there. The location is great. We made trips to saugatuck and south haven. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to eat together. We cooked in each night. Plenty of room for all our supplies. Having 2 refrigerators was great. Had a bonfire a few nights. Chairs provided. Each night deer would come to visit. Plenty of room outside for the kids to play Kids loved the play area. The cabins were nice bonuses for those who couldn’t handle the stairs in the main house Had a few minor problems. Michael was quick to take care of it. This house worked out great for us
