Location gîtes et cottages à Falaises Durham Heritage Coast

« A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. »

« A great little place to chill out. Location brilliant for accessing beaches/ harbours and forest walks. Good selection of pubs / takeaways and little cafés. Hot tub a real bonus ! Beds very comfy ....perfect ! »

« L'accueil dans cet hôtel qui fait aussi pub et restaurant est très chaleureux. Les chambres sont assez spacieuse et la literie confortable, même si cela semble un peu vieillot...(c'est peu être à la mode en Angleterre..?) Toutefois, pour ce tarif on y est bien mieux que dans une chaine d'hôtel style F1... Bref pour un séjour sans se ruiner sur Durham et sa région, je recommande vivement cet hôtel ! »

« The barn is situated on a family farm with the owner, Wendy, living in a neighbouring property. We were made to feel incredibly welcome by Wendy, a lovely welcome pack with cake, biscuits and fudge and even treats for our dog. Nothing is too much trouble and the cottage is equipped with all you could need and more. Although there were only two of us when we travelled, it is very spacious and would be ideal for a larger family with ample parking right outside and a lovely courtyard garden area. »

« Black Bull Cottage was perfect for our trip to Whitby. Only 10 minutes drive out and great value for money. It was very cosy and had everything we could need. The welcome hamper was appreciated with a bottle of wine, breadsticks and cookies. There was parking right outside and next door to a pub that served really nice food. It was a quiet, warm and relaxing place and the bed was very comfortable. I'd recommend for a winter break :-) »
