'Location great; 2 sitting areas and great views of the kangaroos skipping past'

'We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the room with a card from Lane Retreat wishing our 10year old @Buckythefriendlypup a Happy Birthday and enjoy our wine country celebrations. The breakfast selections were excellent. Parking was convenient. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pool was clean. We including the poochies enjoyed our stay!'

'Prachtige kamer. Goede voorzieningen en mooi uitzicht. '

'The place was lovely but the air-conditioner in both bedrooms needed replacing. The manager did give us a good heater after being cold in both bedrooms on the first night. We needed to leave the door open in the 2nd bedroom to allow the heat to flow through from the living area. '

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owners and amenities exceeded our expectations and the owners went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. '

'We loved our stay. It’s the second time we’ve stayed here and we’ll be back. Everything was perfect. It has everything we need and checkin was seamless'

'We stayed two nights in a three-bedroom villa with two young kids and their grandparents. We are sensitive to cleaning chemicals but none of us had any reaction, no smell, so we could fully relax at the villa. The waterpark and the bigger pool were amazing, entertained our kids all the time, literally almost all day. We could spot some warrabies in the property, which was a good bonus. The breakfast buffet was also great, especially the egg kitchen. No salad at the time I stayed but a good...

'The bathrooms need to be redone as they have mould. We were looking forward to using the spa bath but didn’t as the jets were mouldy and had soap scum. The rooms are a nice size. Staff are beautiful'

'Prima verblijf voor een aantal nachten. Vooraf inchecken en een kamersleutel krijgen is niet aan te raden. Ging bij ons mis en moesten de fysieke kamersleutel ophalen in een ander hotel. Kamers waren zeer gedateerd en versleten. Verder hele leuke omgeving met als hoogtepunt een wijnproeverij bij Oakvale. Voor $10 per persoon krijg je een stuk of 8 wijnen te proeven. Restaurant bij het hotel is super gezellig!'

'On arrival there was no visible reception, which was surprising given how busy the weekend was. It was very confusing to find our accommodation and we had to call multiple times before anyone answered. The room provided was not the one we booked, and the property looked very run-down. Perhaps new owners but they certainly weren’t very helpful. Rooms were not serviced. For $1,000 for two nights, it was definitely not worth the money and would say, was the worst place we’ve stayed in Pokolbin. Very...

'Beautiful elegant room and a super comfortable bed. The grounds and gardens were delightful. Our host was lovely and helpful. My only negative is the horrible acrylic blankets on the bed, hot and uncomfortable to sleep under. We will be back with byo blankets.'

'This is the 3rd time i have stayed at the woolshed. Love the accomodation, very clean and everything you need is available.'

'Love this place, such a beautiful spot and owners are so friendly and down to earth. We will definitely be returning.'
