'Leslie was very welcoming, the cabin was very well furnished in a spare, beautiful way. The view of the mountains from the bed was a real treat, as was the deep Japanese hot tub.'

'First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!'

'Two four-legged hosts, Bella and Sammy escorted us to Bird Camp which was warm and welcoming when we arrived! They stayed a bit to make sure we felt at home. This was one of the quietest and most peaceful locations we have stayed at. After a day of skiing, we enjoyed relaxing in the sentou - custom built Japanese bath house.
