Blokhutten in Evening Shade

'Perfect little cabin on the river. Listing had everything that was listed. I had several pretty chilly nights and it had adequate heat to keep me warm! Plenty of cookware. Rather large kitchen for a cabin this size. From my understanding the owners live next door to the property, but they never once botbered me which is nice! Easy to get in and out. Road is a little bumpy in/out but any vehicle can make it. Would love to stay again in the summer so i can enjoy the outdoor seating and river more!'

'We stayed over Christmas, so we didn’t get a chance to fully enjoy the outdoor setting (which would have been awesome in the summer) but the cabin was cozy and secluded.You know when the directions to get there include the words “ANOTHER cattle guard,” it’s gonna be a perfect retreat from the chaos at the end of a long day visiting family. '

'Very secluded and peaceful. Great host. Everything was according to what was said . Just a heads up 20 miles is probably an hour drive lol. Wasn't expecting that, yet made for fun adventures. Great experience.'

'We enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cabin! The house is in excellent condition and it was spacious for our family of five. Easy accessibility to the river. The house is a 30 minute drive from Mountain View and is best driven with a 4x4 . We managed with some difficulty with our Honda Accord ,we were also in a Lexus RX 350 AWD which did just fine. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the utensils I needed for cooking or for when barbecued. It should be noted the main steps to the home are...

'Fantastic get away'

'The property was as advertised. Everything was clean and in a peaceful location. We were a bit surprised at the size of the "lake" as it ended up being more of a pond. We did take the kayaks out but the water is pretty nasty and not ideal for swimming or fishing. That was all fine though because thr purpose of our trip was to float the Spring River. Overall a great stay and i would return.'

'We had a wonderful time swimming and tubing the Strawberry River & floating the Spring River. The cabin was decorated beautifully & the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals.
