'I loved the forest access. It was a huge bonus for me. I also loved how close it was to all the other hiking areas and cloudcroft/Alamagordo. Another bonus is hpw dark it gets at night and how little light pollution there is whoch allows to see stars. 'The host was super attentive. The house itself is a little off the beaten path, which was exactly what we were looking for. There's an outdoor firepit, and indoor wood burning stove with firewood available for use. The beds are comfortable, and TVs in each room. 'Loved this little cabin for my wife and I, our 2 boys and our little dog. We were told from the owner it was newly renovated and you can definitely tell from the work that they put in because it looks great. The ceiling lights are bluetooth which was kinda cool and the modern appliances were a definite plus. We were happy with the internet and TV as it got quite cold our first night, the electric fire place put off a good amount of heat so we stayed in. The location was the best part, quiet part...

'This was a nice little cabin close to everything in Cloudcroft. Lots of walkable shops and restaurants. The cabin was comfortable for one person, although I don’t recommend booking this for more than one person since it would be à little cramped, especially the bathroom. The early checkin time was a nice feature, as was the free and easy parking. '
