Particuliere vakantiehuizen in Erin

'It needs to be made abundantly clear— this is not a “cozy private room and bathroom” as advertised. You are renting a bedroom in someone’s residence and have access to the shared bathroom across the hall, which also meant staying in the daily mess and untidiness of the usual family home. I was awoken by the noise of the family and their young children in the night and in the morning. Anyone could have access to your key and your room with no security from within and the home is half of a duplex...

'The host was very responsive however, the facility is a basement unit (not readily identified as such) with a very lively family living upstairs. They have children who are up very late even past 12 midnight and the family is up cleaning and vacuuming and moving furniture late at night. The floor is not sound insulated and it makes it almost impossible to sleep. I made a complaint after the second sleepless night and they host was responsive and it did get a bit better than the first two...

'Great, clean spot. Great communication made things seamless.'

'The property was cleaned. Calm. But the TV was not conected... I enjoyed my stay. Thank you.'

'We've stayed in this house before but in the basement., we travel often to see family, it is always everything we need and our host always responds quickly!'

'It was lovely being on the river, watching the wildlife (ducks, geese, people floating by in inner tubes and even a young man fly fishing)! Our host, Kamal, made us feel very comfortable, knowing that we could contact him anytime.'

'Not one to normally leave poor reviews but this place did not have a lot to find good about. On arrival I sent several photos to the owner to advise of the damage areas that we found. Con’s:Cleanliness was questionable. Stains and marks on walls, baseboards and floors. Grease and food on backsplash in kitchen. Found several ants in the house on the lower level. Many things were damaged or broken. Lights either had no working bulbs or one of three. Screen door to deck fell off. Floor vents...

'Clean property in residential area. Owner is a good communicator. Was a bit cumbersome bringing in personal effects as door to apartment is directly behind the main door and has an auto-closer….so it made the move in a bit more challenging. AND if that is the only “issue” then I consider myself lucky. It was a pleasant stay.'

'Quiet place to work while I was in town without distractions.'

'The place was excellent we were very pleased. Maybe better access to back area with chairs and access to barbeque would be nice as well! Great spot'
