'Zeer charmant huisje in het mooie dorpje Barbizon. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Host/hostess spreken goed Engels. Viel wel op dat de straat voor het huisje in de nacht (weekend) toch druk was en er zeer snel werd gereden. Maar dat is misschien toeval. Parkeren kan voor de deur. Super.'

'The cottage is idyllic and romantically beautiful. The furnishings are simple and functional. I enjoyed the fragrant flowers and the warm hospitality of Michel and Sylvie. Nearby is the beautiful forest where you can walk and climb. You can share the beautiful gate and garden with the owners. I only missed a bakery in the village. Beautiful village with beautiful stone walls and gardens. Calm and quiet place, like to come back.Wish I was still there.'

'Nous avions loué ce gîte à l'occasion de notre mariage. Les 4 chambres doubles et la chambre dortoir ont permis d'héberger les 5 couples. Le salon spacieux, la belle pièce de vie avec sa grande table et la cuisine bien équipée nous ont permis de partager de beaux moments de famille. Par ailleurs grâce à une météo favorable nous avons profité de la terrasse, et de l'ensemble des extérieurs dans ce très beau cadre à la campagne. 'We enjoyed our stay in this house, just outside Paris in a nice neighbourhood with everything you need just around the corner (boulanger, supermarket). We visited Paris from here two days in a row, parking the car at the edge of Paris and taking the metro (line 10) from there. When we had a little mishap with the car, our hosts immediately offered help. Communication with our hosts in general up to and during our stay was perfect.
