'Hotel was amazing very clean, staff was nice. Only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. I called down to front desk for someone to come check it out and no one ever came. It was very hot out so coming in from a long day at the beach and being outside to no AC was disappointing. Funny thing is it started working properly an hour before checkout. Overall it was good'

'The refuge lives up to its name; a quiet cozy spot to retreat and recharge. We loved the ponies, big shady trees, and proximity to Assateague.
Our room was comfortable and clean; we had a mini fridge and a dehumidifier (critical in this region). I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel with daily housekeeping and where everything simply worked.'

'De kamers waren in orde. Koelkastje en eigenlijk alles wat hè nodig hebt. Het pand zelf ziet er beetje verwaarloosd uit. De reling van het balkon is hier en daar kapot, niet geheel veilig.
Het ontbijt is naar onze Europese begrippen erg matig.
De ijsblokjes machine deed het wel maar zag er vies uit.

'We would absolutely stay here again. The staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious, the room/beds comfortable. Convenient to shops and the restaurant right next door was a plus. Gorgeous views! Very nice pool area. I was a little concerned about the highway but you can’t hear any traffic noise at all. Overall the property rates high on our list and I tend to be picky. Oh the hot water was pleasantly hot as I love a good hot bath! Highly recommend!'
