'Strong marijuana smell in a property advertised as smoke-free. The hotel clearly says it is a smoke-free property, which is a big reason I booked it. We were given a connecting room, and the guests next door were smoking marijuana. The smell came straight into our room and was strong and obvious. We reported it to the front desk. Staff came up and said they couldn't smell anything, even though it was obvious someone was smoking. Nothing was done. A smoke-free policy means nothing if it isn't...

'The room was clean. The shower could use more pressure, and the toilet as well, very slow flushing. But overall the room was decent. We did get a suite on the end where the air conditioning units were. It was loud but it did drown out the singing fisherman outside in the dock. Lol he sang Spanish Ladies from dusk to dawn! Safe location, but it’s an island so not too crazy there. The island needs more decent shopping and things to do, but overall it was a relaxing time.'

'The room was semi clean and in a good spot but the bed linens were strange. The comforter felt like wax paper. The floors turned my socks black but the bathroom was clean. Our tub backed up with what smelled like sewage but they moved us right away. No carts to move all our luggage and food which was annoying. No coffee maker in room. Tv was weird. Good for a night that’s about all'

'De kamers waren in orde. Koelkastje en eigenlijk alles wat hè nodig hebt. Het pand zelf ziet er beetje verwaarloosd uit. De reling van het balkon is hier en daar kapot, niet geheel veilig.
Het ontbijt is naar onze Europese begrippen erg matig.
De ijsblokjes machine deed het wel maar zag er vies uit.

'The bed would clank loudly against the wall whenever one moved on it. The bathroom had fixtures missing. Toiled paper was just sitting on top of the commode. There was moldy material in the shower. This property is just poorly maintained.'

'We love Key West, but we don’t want to fly or drive there anymore. Key West Cottages made us feel like we were in Key West. The cottage was beautiful and they’re all so colorful! I loved the crushed shell pathways.
The wagons they provide for moving your things to the cottage are a great idea.
We really enjoyed watching the sunset at the beach area. We were surprised that we could have used the pool in September, as it is heated. Next year we’ll bring our suits!'
