"Hot water for shower take so long or nothing, only 1 towel even i ask for an extra they did not give but thanks to the housekeeper girl in Veranda, she is nice and give me one. I also ask for a breakfast to go a day before that if we can have a breakfast to go on next day at 7am because we have a tour and we need to be at 7:45am at the meeting point but we got no breakfastat all ww need to leave asap because of the meeting point time and still they did not pack any even a bottled water. We habe stay at the extended side of the hotel and the room had no socket for charging near bed only 1 near Ref but not working we need to charge at the bathroom and most if all no wifi in room only outside. But at the main hotel there is a pool and the beach it‘s nice that‘s the only positive comments that i can give. It‘s about 15-29 minutes to El Nido Town. Tricycle cost ₱100.00 everytim. Airport transfer cost ₱1,200 "

"We stayed five nights at Charlie’s El Nido. We had fairly high expectations, as this was one of the most expensive hotels we booked during our six month trip through Southeast Asia (around $100 per night). Unfortunately, the experience ended up being quite disappointing. We booked a standard room and were placed on a basement floor. That wouldn’t have been a big issue, but it was quite a long walk with luggage and there is no elevator. The room itself was extremely small, with barely any space to move around and no room for a chair. The hotel also seemed to have a sewage issue. Both in the bathroom and around the resort there was a strong sewage smell throughout the day. In addition, we only had hot water for two of the five nights. We had to walk to reception twice to report it. Our room key card also stopped working twice, which meant additional trips to reception to get it reactivated. The WiFi barely worked and requires access codes that need to be re entered regularly. Housekeeping was also confusing. At check in we were told cleaning is only done upon request, yet the first morning housekeeping knocked on our door asking if we wanted the room cleaned. The following day no one came, even though we had left the used towels on the floor. On the positive side, the pool area is nice (although sunbeds were often occupied), the staff are very friendly and helpful, and we were offered a free airport shuttle. Still, we don’t feel it was worth the money."

"Fantastische villa rechtstreeks aan zwembad en zee. Maar wat ons verblijf echt speciaal maakte, was het personeel. Wat een vriendelijke service. Men deed alles om het ons naar de zin te maken. Bedankt aan heel de staf!"

"Ontbijt is erg slecht er is gewoon niks op te eten "

"Het is echt prachtig van buiten, maar helaas zeer slecht onderhouden van binnen. Zwembad is gevaarlijk, bestaat uit kleine steentjes die voor een deel gebroken zijn. De ligbankjes in het water zoals op de foto zijn weggehaald omdat het allemaal stuk is. De bovenste verdieping heeft prachtig uitzicht maar er zijn geen ligbankjes meer. Enkel een paar poefjes. Echt zonde van het mooie uitzicht. Dat is de enige reden waarvoor je dit hotel moet kiezen, dan kan je beter een dagkaart kopen. De handdoeken en beddengoed zijn oud en aan vervanging toe. Gevlekt vies en grijs ipv wit. Hotel kamer wordt niet echt goed schoongemaakt en is klein. Vooral de badkamer is heel krap. Door een schuifdeur te plaatsen zouden ze al een deel oplossen in de badkamer. De laatste drie dagen hadden we geen warmwater meer uit de douche en er werd geen moeite gedaan om het te fixen, we hebben met koud water gedoucht. "

"The view was amazing, the staff and owner was wonderfull. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is a bit outside the centre (otherwise you would not get the nice view), but still very easy to get there. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to El Nido. "
