'Lovely Hotel, we have 3 dogs and we have never been so impressed by the greeting for our dogs. The beds were confortable, the Staff were fantastic, couldent do enough for their guests and their dogs, the breakfast was very good, parking was very good. 'The Sun is in an amazing location overlooking the beautiful village of Coniston. It is also a stunning old building, full of character and charm. Tha staff cant do enough for you. '

'We stayed at the Premier Inn for a week. The staff is amazing and was always quick to address any questions or things we needed during the stay. The room itself was spacious enough with beautiful vistas for a long stay. The best part was the bed; I got my beauty sleep every night. Breakfast was good if we were staying for two nights, but after that it felt quite monotonous. '

'For £60 a night I had a clean and comfy bed, a hot shower, and a tea and coffee station. The staff were friendly and helpful. Yes, it is a little noisy and crooked, but it's an old pub with normal pub hours so that's to be expected. I'm a female in my early 30s travelling on my own and I felt very safe and welcomed. Obviously this is not the hotels fault so still rating a 5, but just make sure you have a decent car to get there as the route is very steep and goes through a mountain range. The...
