Positief: Netheid, comfort kamer
This time was substandard
It is a tradition in our family to start a visit to Scotland in Court Residence. We have always liked it a lot, but this time we were disappointed.
I booked through hotels.com and ordered (and paid for) their best room (The duplex).
Unfortunately we did not get it.
Then the breakfast, which is as usual some products on a breakfast basket and fridge in the room.
Best before date of the bread was few days in the past.
The milk in the fridge was a leftover from previous people....
So breakfast outside.
When we came back late that day (After the tattoo) reception was already closed, but
- Nothing changed on the breakfast option except that the bread was 1 day more over the limit.
- But also the towels we left on the bathroom floor were hung back up to dry........
I have to admit that there was honest shock in the eyes of the receptionist when we checked out.
But not sure if we will keep this tradition alive.
