'We rented the whole place and had a magical week. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating and made everything easy. The place is beautiful, definitely rustic, but that's fine. The water and boats worked perfectly. We camped on islands and had adventures every day. The Kitchen is big and functional. 'We enjoyed staying here at this cute Inn. It was so clean and cozy. We had everything we needed. We were in room 26 which was cute with its little table with two chairs, comfortable bed, and access to the living room of the in at our front door. There was also a very nice outside porch or you could sit and watch the sunrise in the morning with your coffee or tea. We enjoyed walking down to one of the restaurants and had a nice dinner, and then having homemade ice cream afterwards at the ice...

'I really enjoyed staying in the solar cabins, under the night time stars. It's much cheaper than motels and far better, weather permitting. A welcome break from the routine for travelers and tourists and visitors. There's an outside kitchen, + a bathroom /toilet shed. Grill up some burgers on that gas!'

'We had a wonderful stay at the Motel on the River. The owners are wonderful, helpful people and they really show interest in their guests. They gave us good advice about places worth visiting in the area and we also used the Motel as a base to drive to Acadia National Park, which is beautiful. We ( parents with 3 young adults) climbed the beehive trail in the Park which is really worth climbing, not only for the adventure but also because of the beauty of te surroundings.
