"This property was gorgeous. The home itself was very warm, inviting, and spacious. We knew immediately when we walked in that we snagged a winner. "We really enjoyed staying here. The owner was very nice and answered all our questions. We loved being right on the river and we caught a lot of fish (bass and big catfish). We drove to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park and went hiking there. We couldn't wait to get back to the cabin after hiking to relax. All the furniture, beds and bedding were very comfortable. The cabin is nicely decorated, beautiful wood furnishings and taxidermy. We would definitely stay here again!"
