'Very cute farmhouse VRBO. Very peaceful setting! We enjoyed our stay and would come back if we are in the area.'

'Plan to relax, nothing else is needed! Very well supplied Yurt! Also you can order fresh baked goods to be delivered the following morning or preorder for your arrival. That made this experience very special!'

'We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...

'Missy communicated well. '

'A peaceful location for our weekend events. Located in the quiet country setting, the home was spacious and clean. Waking up to deer and nearby horses was an extra perk. The host was responsive and accommodating. We will definitely consider this for another visit.'

'Clean very happy'

'My second visit to Halestone. It's the perfect place being walkable to downtown with all the shops and restaurants. I would spend my entire summer there if I could. Whenever I get back to Lexington this is the only place I want to stay'

'Our family enjoyed all the rooms & amenities at the house. Everything was beautiful. The pool & kayaking were a hit. Touring the Greenbrier bunker was educational for all of us. I emailed the owner about a couple of things & he responded promptly. A great place for all of us!'

'We enjoyed our stay. Not much could beat the view.!!The highway was a little noisier than expected so if you’re a light sleeper it may not be for you. I used the sound machine and it worked out well for me. We saw 3 beautiful deer in the yard coming back one night. There was a couple things we had to contact the host about, but he was helpful in helping us resolve the issue. it wasn’t anything major.'

'Clean, well located for our planned activities. Coffee and snacks appreciated.'

'Very nice definitely recommend'

'My girlfriends and I had a wonderful experience here. The location is perfect for walking to dinner and boutique shopping. We loved our house. There was an amazing attention to detail… ie: coffee filters, good supplies of shampoo, ect., and very comfortable beds. Our host was responsive and very accommodating. I will be back to this lovely spot. Thank you so much for your hospitality.'

'Great place! Lots of room and a beautiful setting. The Host was helpful and set it up perfectly for easy checkin. Thank you!'

'Nice quiet area. Clean and had everything we needed.'

'What an amazing house! Recently remodeled! Perfect for a large family or group - the rooms and bathrooms are massive. Kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook. The A/C was outstanding! Occasional road noise from out front but it was infrequent and not a real issue. Perfect location for W&L and VMI parents. Highly recommend this property!'

'Peaceful and perfect'
