The cabin is well represented by the web site. It was very clean. We enjoyed the screened in deck, outside deck, fire pit and kayaking on the creek. It's a good distance from civilization and few places around you. The cabin has more stuff in it than I was expecting. Shampoo and some toiletries, a full kitchen, I honestly thought it was more like someone's house that I'd rented than a cabin because there was everything you could possibly think of there.
Hospitality: The owner was especially helpful when we were there. She responded to text, email and calls quickly and gave us advice on the area. I felt like she thought of just about everything.
Bugs: Yes of course there are. Bring a can of insect fogger and walk around the perimeter of the lawn with it. We did that and within hours the bugs were mostly gone, and we were able to sit outside even at night and enjoy the camp fire and running stream.
Sulfur in water: Yes, it isn't perfect but there was a water cooler with 5 gallon bottles of water in the kitchen so there was no need to worry about bringing enough fresh water. It reminded me of a destination I went to in the Rocky Mountains that had natural hot water springs that smelled a bit like sulfur - some places you have to pay extra for the minerals in the water, though I would prefer not to have the smell in the water.
All in all, it was everything we hoped for, and we had a spectacular time.
