Spring Break

The condo was the perfect location for our kids to walk to slopes and come back for lunch. Everything was as advertised in the listing. One thing that we really appreciated, which most VRBO rentals don’t provide, is the abundance of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and towels. We also appreciated the actual hand soap and good shampoo and conditioner. The master bed was comfy and enjoyed the nice Casper pillows. Would definitely come stay again!

East Rim at Purg

Had a great stay at Purg. The location can't be beat! Place was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. This unit was better than most because they had spices, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, fire starter, etc., that a lot of places tend to lack. We can't recommend this place enough!

Wonderful!

The property met all of our needs. It was roomy and had everything we needed in order to have all of our meals in house to save money. My son loved how he could walk out the door and play in the snow. I loved how we could walk a short distance to the lifts. We will definitely stay here again!

Modern Condo with all the Amenities

The condo is very comfortable, with modern amenities and a completely stocked kitchen! The carpet adds to the warmth and comfort. The Smart Apple TV was very easy to cast and stream from. The only note is the flight of stairs from the parking lot to the front door and stairs to access the bedrooms. Excellent Stay.

Great condo in great location

Condo was accurately advertised and directly across from the Lodge. We were able to walk across the street to the lifts. It was perfect for our family of six. Only issue was that the sheets on the murphy bed appeared to have not been washed. Everything was perfect otherwise. We would definitely stay again.

Spectacular views

We loved our stay at this rental! The property was great! We enjoyed the short walk to the pool and hot tub. Purgatory has a lot of great amenities! The heated bathroom floor was a great surprise! We do wish the dryer was working for laundry. But, overall a fantastic stay and beautiful place!

Badly needed retreat

No regrets. This place was great. Clean and well stocked with the things we needed to cook to eat healthy/save money. I liked the pillows so much I came home and bought a pair. We rode our mountain bikes during the day at the resort and our kid LOVED the heated pool w/ water slide that was just across the street. Hosts were super helpful.

Fantastic Purgatory Location

Our family enjoyed being so close to all of the summer activities that Purgatory offers! This little “condo/cabin” was so close to everything but still distanced enough that traffic and noise wasn’t an issue. The cabin was well equipped for the weekend which was a plus considering there aren’t many food options the further you get from Durango. We hesitate to note that the cleanliness has room for improvement. We mostly don’t want it to be taken negatively because we were very grateful that the hosts allowed pets (seeing as we brought our own chihuahua) but there were some things that the hosts may need to address with whoever cleans the condo. There was a lot of shed dog hair on most of the bedding when we arrived. Again, don’t want to come off as complaining because we own a dog of our own but I suspect the hosts aren’t aware of the cleaning company’s attention to detail. When a renter pays significant cleaning fees it’d be nice to arrive to sheets without imbedded dog hair. And the washing machine had what appeared to be months of old soap build up so I’m not sure how “cleaned” the linens and towels actually get. One other thing to note (which again is hard to have control over) but LOTS of cobwebs and dead insects in fairly obvious parts of the house. When you’re in the mountains you have to expect that though.

Good location

We were pleased with the ease of access to the lodge and it's amenities. The condo is perfectly located to the mountain and for day trips to Silverton and Ouray. The convenience of the location made it easier to overlook smaller things like the comfort of the beds and cleanliness of the dishes. Overall, we had good stay here!

Wonderful Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We had never been to Purgatory before and we will definitely be back. The condo is in such a great location! We were able to walk to the lifts and being right across from the pool and fitness center was awesome! It was so fun to ski during the day and soak in the pool and hot tub after. The condo was excellent. We had plenty of room for our family of 6 and we all enjoyed it very much! It was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely return again next year!

Loved our stay

We would recommend! Enjoyed a mini reunion with long time friends, skied, great snow conditions, easily walked to the lifts. The views from the condo were amazing! Alison was very prompt in responding to any questions we had.
