Flats in Durango - Purgatory

'We spent a week here with our two adult sons to visit our daughter who lives close. The place is modern and clean with everything you need for cooking (even grilling outside). Parking is easy. The location is wonderful ... a 3-minute walk to the trail along the river and to the trolley stop on Main Ave to downtown. Lots of great restaurants in Durango (Fridas is close by.) We went to Mesa Verde and Ouray during our stay ... worth the trip! And yes, the host is responsive ... we had a few...

'Our two night stay was wonderful. The location was great…just a few minutes from downtown, but quiet and peaceful. The unit was super clean, well-appointed, and featured great amenities. We enjoyed everything from the Aveda products provided in the bathrooms, to the comfy beds, to the amazing video collection. It was perfect for our needs (and wants)!'

'All went very well except the heat was uncomfortable in a non air conditioned condo. We stayed out of the condo all day and didn’t come back till late in the day. The temps ran into the mid to upper 80’s.'

'The condo was clean and very well furnished and stocked. It is a great location, midway between Durango and Silverton. My wife and I enjoy the hiking in the Silverton area, but I’ve had problems with finding good lodging in the town of Silverton. I will definitely return to the Silverpick condo on future trips to the area. '

'The condo was older but very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay.We loved getting a little pickleball in each day too!'

'We were very comfortable here. Having the kitchen and washer/dryer was very convenient. The only negative was the facility policy that did not allow outside guests at the pool since we were visiting with friends who were at an RV park and the kids wanted to swim together. '

'The condo was very comfortable, clean, stocked, and quite. We enjoyed having access to the fitness center and pool area. There are so many areas to explore nearby, our favorite being the Durango Hot Springs. Totally worth a day pass (or 5)! Not a far drive to downtown for the shopping and restaurants. We also loved James Ranch for their delicious food and market. We will be back, thank you so much! '
