Theres a microwave, small toaster oven (I thought I could make puzza and you have to 4th the pizza to do so), there's a grilling grate, so we brought tin foil for burgers; super good. 'The cabin is as described - although it is a dry cabin, it offered a lot of little amenities that make it a lot nicer. Yes, the bugs are bad - but you have to expect that in Northern MN. The outhouse was a little overwhelming depending on the time of day - not sure if it’s venting as it should, but that was the only thing that was a disappointment. We had a severe thunderstorm roll in over night, and we were certainly happy to be in a cabin. '

'We wanted to take a quick weekend trip to Duluth and we found this cabin. We loved it! Our dog came with and made friends with the neighbor’s dog. The lake was beautiful and we loved walking down the gravel street! The owner and maintenance person responded very quickly.'

'Great little cabin in a fairly remote area. Access to Lake Superior South shore is about a 20 min hike on a nice trail. Amenities feel very similar to most commercial/county campsites. Plenty of parking. Keep in mind there is no AC on the cabin but there is heat. Fun little place to stay.'

I couldn’t remember the last time we’d been somewhere that doesn’t have the constant subtle hum of a fridge or electricity. This cabin has everything you truly need and the hosts are so thoughtful. We felt safe, happy and proud of ourselves for the tech break! Beautiful river front and trails right in front of you. Wonderful!'
