We spent the last two weeks here and cannot say enough how wonderful this home is! Perfect beach house - breathtaking views from the kitchen. We have two small children so the top floor open concept was perfect for us and they loved the movie room!! Definitely would recommend. Also the property management was excellent to work with!

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Mi Casa Su Casa. The house was clean, met all of our needs, and had lots of space to hangout. We loved staying here and definitely will consider it for our next vacation.

Wonderful Oceanfront Experience!

We have stayed at a few oceanfront properties in Duck but this home was by far the closest to the ocean, just steps from the beach and access is right beside the home. Parents with young children would love this feature! The beds were comfy, the living, dining room and kitchen space roomy. The theatre room made watching football and movies a delight though reclining stadium seating would be ideal for us 'old' folks (hehe). Shoreline was amazing to work with and the owner even had a Christmas tree and sprinkles of Christmas waiting for us! Thank you so much for making our family vacation the best!!!!

Perfect stay

Could not have asked for a better location, house is only steps from the ocean. Due to having 2 older women in our group who have trouble with steps the elevator was an absolute blessing. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a beach getaway and look forward to coming back personally next year.

Perfect Beach House for Our Family

We just finished our 5th year of staying in Mi Casa Su Casa, and it's perfect for our extended family! We have the max limit of 14 people, ranging from 8 to 82. There are 4 master bedrooms, perfect for our 4 couples. The 4 youngest cousins enjoy being together in the bunk room, and the 2 eldest cousins love sharing the daybed room. The theatre room is a big hit overall, and the elevator and proximity to the beach are exactly what is needed for the matriarch and patriarch of our crew. Thank you for another memorable year in OBX!

This is the 2nd time we've rented this home. It's great, obviously! On the beach, with a pool, plenty of rooms, a well-appointed kitchen (with 2 dishwashers), an extra fridge & an extra microwave. It's clean and tastefully decorated. The kids watched TV in the movie room while the adults were making dinner, which benefitted us all.

What a great time the whole family had the house was emaciate the speakers at the pool made each day a pool party neighbors said we had the best house pool party every day and we agreed. Theater room was the bomb and the pool table etc no need to go anywhere else for entertainment. If only there was a full or queen bed in luew of the bunk beds we would totally rent it again. Our family continues to grow so next trip will need 5 private bedrooms with bathrooms, now if it is possible to sub out those bunk beds for a full size bed or just sub out one set and leave the other email me please as we'd love nothing better than to book the same house next time. All in all wow what a vacation it was. 5 stars people...five stars.

Duck 18 Mi Casa Su Casa

House was in a perfect location. Nothing in front but the sand and the ocean. No high dunes to look over. Sunrises were the best out of every ocean front window on the first and second floors. House was a great size for our small group. Beautiful and clean. Kitchen well stocked. Movie theater was a bonus, although we spent every night around the large table upstairs playing cards, listening to the waves crash in and viewing the moon over the ocean. The view out of those windows never got old.

Enjoyed house but had to buy all new food. As we could not eat it all at once. Added free on but repair person said it will go out again... it has a leak they need new refrigerator

We like the unit and want to rent again. The unit was very clean and ready when we arrived. The only problem was that it took a day (and Dillion who was excellent) to get all the remotes working. We had no TVs the first day. Each remote needs to be marked with the TV that it goes to. Also a little point the advertisement says that the unit has a charcoal grill and it does not.

Great experience

The property and our interaction with Shoreline, we left some clothes in the closet and they shipped them to us, were fantastic! Only issue was the pool was not checked or cleaned during the week of our visit. It was full of sand when we arrived, even after we emailed the pool email asking about the sand being vacuumed out of the pool it was not addressed. I assume this is an issue for Shoreline and their contracted pool maintenance company. Overall, we would absolutely rent from Shoreline again. Thanks!

Worked Like We Hoped it Would

This was our first effort at a large family gathering over an extended period (a week), during a summer beach vacation. It worked. The house was great and was furnished as needed for many people who, although related, do not live together. Right on the beach, with pool and hot tub, and laid out in a way to accommodate many people together, but still provide some "be by yourself" space. Two minor critisisms: 1) Advertised capacity was 15, yet there were only beds for 14. Management did provide an extra bed (blowup type) that we found a place for, so it worked out. 2) Toaster was advertised and shown in a picture, but it was nowhere to be found. There was a toaster oven, but that's just not the same, especially with lots of folks. Overall...We had a great time and would consider it again.

Prime location hides a multitude of sins.

Overall, the location of the property is ideal, particularly for large families with little kids. Back and forth to the beach for naps is easy. It’s close to so many beautiful dining options. The location is perfect. However, the cleanliness of the house was lacking and the degree of luxury one might expect from a house like this was definitely not there. There was mold in the showers, dust all over the artificial plants, blinds and furniture and the beds were made with hospital grade sheets that in some rooms were put on inside out. Frankly we made the house exponentially cleaner than it was when we arrived. The bedding is incredibly dated and honestly a little gross with stains in more than one place in more than one room. Would we stay here again? We have been asking ourselves that since we pulled out. It’s hard to say. The location is so ideal it’s hard to say no but for the price, you should definitely be getting a greater attention to detail and level of luxury.

House was fantastic,exactly as described and pictured. Our family had a great time and was more than enough space for 6 adults and 2 kids. We even had an extra bedroom because our kids ended up wanting to use the den instead of the bunks. We had constant communication throughout hurricane Erin and never felt like we didnt know what was happening.
