'Beautiful property overlooking the new river. Access to River is not possible from the property., although Foster Falls State Park is about 5 miles away. Driveway is very steep.Just to note there are no shades on the windows above the living room and therefore no shade to the loft area three beds. This means you will wake up with the sun!'

'We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!'

'This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family! The property is so beautiful and private. We were there for my daughter's graduation from Virginia Tech. I only wish we had a little more time to relax by the firepit and enjoy the soothing sounds of the stream that runs along the property.'

'I was not made aware that the creek was closed due to drought. I was not made aware that there was a fee to fish in that creek even before it was declared closed due to drought. The trout farm was also closed which i was not made aware of. I would not have added a day to my reservation had I known this. The cabin could use a bigger fridge and softer mattresses but otherwise good. Someone should have made us aware of the stream closure before i added a night but they didnt.'

'Wonderful little getaway! Very clean and comfortable. We loved that you can open the floor to ceiling glass doors to the outside and hear the creek while relaxing inside. The hot tub was super clean, and the fire pit was perfect on a cool night. '
