« My husband and I enjoyed this relaxing cabin and the refreshing creek. It was much needed. The only issue is we didnt stay long enough. »

« The lake front cabin is just as described and very private for a relaxing vacation. Plenty of room for all of us. Having a door to separate the 2 spaces gave the kids one half of the house and we utilized the loft with the large bathroom on the other side which made it more private and had the lake view. We used the dock and kayaks every day and fished and swam as the weather was perfect. We definitely recommend this property and will book again in the future! »

« This. Place. Is. Awesome! The pictures do not do it justice. Amazing location far from civilization. Great place to go to unplug. I wish we would have had more time to spend there but we were just passing through and only stayed one night. Whether you want to do your best impersonation of Henry David Thoreau or get back to basics with the kids you cannot go wrong with this property. The owner is a really nice guy as well. »

« I’m afraid that no words or pictures can quite describe our stay at Pops cozy cabin! The views are stunning; the cabin was updated, beautifully decorated, and spotless. It had everything we needed for a mother/daughters weekend get away. We wish we had planned a longer stay- and will be back. This area of Virginia is close to so many things to do. Or, if you prefer having nothing to do, this is the place for you as well. It’s so peaceful sitting on the deck enjoying the scenery as the day...

« Wonderful place. Loved the location for motorcycle rides had an area to place bikes out of rain. There was a great fire pit. Loved cooking and just hanging out on the larger porch during the rain storm. »

« Cute cabin! Cute cows as neighbors, too! We enjoyed our stay. We ended up bringing an extra person and had plenty of room to add a twin air mattress to the loft. The back yard is very sloped so if you bring a dog, keep that in mind. There is plenty of room to walk dogs below the houses on the flatter grass. There is parking for two cars, but one spot is also very sloped. Definitely a repeat stay if we are back in the area. The host was very responsive! »

« This was so much fun!! We had a great time. The little town of Bland is very charming. The grocery store had everything we needed too. Definitely, soak in the tub. Fabulous!! Highly recommended! »

« This property is beautiful and the house is wonderful. It is very important that anyone who stays here is aware of the steepness of the driveway! My car could not make it up. I had read the reviews that warned me and I just thought they were over reacting. They were not. I had to haul my stuff in from half way up because my car could not make it any farther up. « We really enjoyed our stay at Tranquility. The house is clean and well stocked for a weekend getaway. The kids had fun in the river and playing ping pong in the basement. The kitchen had everything we needed except a strainer (which wasn’t that big of a deal!) and the grill was clean. The location was perfect for us as we had friends camping at the horse campground next door. We enjoyed the new river trail. All in all a good spot! »
