« Loved having access to a kitchen and a washing machine, much needed after 3 wks camping. Beds were supper comfy cozy, and contrary to other reviews we did not find the street noise bothersome, and we had the windows open. Traffic noise calmed by midnight. Place was very well looked after by hardworking staff, we saw staff regularly in the 4 days we stayed. Shout out to them, because it's deplorable the mess other guests left in the kitchen. « Het was een prachtige plek in Elham. Mooi rustig maar op een kort ritje naar dichtbijzijde supermarkt en stadje.De workshop was mooi ingericht en ruim! De hygiëne was niet goed. Ik had het idee dat er niet was schoongemaakt toen we aankwamen. In de badkamer was er alleen een bad waar je in moet zitten om te kunnen douchen. Zou fijn zijn geweest als dat duidelijker was aangegeven. Over het algemeen een mooi verblijf! Mooie plek en omgeving, voor 2 nachten prima!! »

« Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING...

"Attention :si des éléments disparaissent dans votre chambre, inutile de vous plaindre à la direction car on vous répond que cela disparait par magie... Constat fait lors du passage du personnel de chambre... La manager est désagréable et vous répond que ce n'est pas possible. De plus, nous avions réservés 1 nuitée de plus. La nuit a été annulé par magie certainement car le lendemain matin on nous annonce : "chambre indisponible". Biensur aucun mail d'annulation et aucune excuse... On nous propose de réserver 2 chambres... Bref nous sommes venus plusieurs fois, c'est bien la dernière"

"Hôtel vétuste mais bien situé, la zone n’est pas assez exploitée d’ailleurs. Le gazon synthétique a lavant de l’hôtel est une faute de goût surtout au UK. L’hôtel est vieillot, pas au niveau de sa catégorie. Nous avons par contre très bien mangé au Cost Restautant mais mêmes les olives et le pain sont payant, encore une faute de goût…dommage."

"Très très bel hôtel ! Le jacuzzi est super ! La chambre est spacieuse et très agréable ! Il en est de même du lit et de la salle de bains. Super ! Le personnel est accueillant et aimable ! Les promenades environnantes sont très belles. Mais l'ascenseur est bien trop petit et trop lent ! "

"Felt like being part of a cruise for some reason, the entertainment, size of the hotel, gave that ambiance. The rooms need to be refreshed (the bathroom was old) but all in all, we still had a good time in Folkestone so I'd still give it a 7 if I had to rate the experience."
