Pensions in Porters Ski Area

'Perfect for our short stay'

'The apartment was a great overnight stay in a resort with 2 bedrooms for the 3 of us. It was an upstairs apartment so we had some nice views to watch the sunset from the balcony. A handy place to stay for skiing at Mt Hutt. The living area was suitable for us with 2 couches and a dining area. The kitchen was well equipped with tea, coffee, sugar as well as some handy basics like salt, pepper and oil and a few other handy items. We all wished we could've had another nights stay. 'The room was OK but the sign outside said B&B. Could not find any breakfast. Don't know if it was included in the booking. No-one around. Bar was unattended. We saw someone drift in and out of the complex but he was not very helpful. The only time we got to speak to him was to see if we could do an early check-in, but no, the door is locked until 2pm. We were 30mins early. Can't really say the service was good, but the room was OK.'

'The big thing is hotel rooms were just rooms. No TVs, or private bathrooms. Bathrooms including sinks, toilet and shower are community. However, the price is less than half of a normal hotel room. Great for broke college or young people.'

'It was basic but ok. Could not get the tv to go'

'Matig motel, wel veel ruimte, maar gedateerde inrichting en niet goed onderhouden. Wel redelijk schoon, maar niet verzorgd, onpersoonlijk.'

'The studio unit was clean and tidy. Very handy to the town centre and all the eateries. As well as the hot pools. Communication with the host was excellent and no issues accessing the property. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils etc. There was plenty of hot water for the shower and a heated towel rail to air our towels after our shower in the morning, ready for the next.'

'Amenities and location all good '
