Expect extreme micromanagement and privacy concerns.First, you have to provide an excessive amount of personal information just to gain access to the building including where you live, the purpose of your booking, and a photo of your ID. They even require three separate photos of your face for "verification." I contacted VRBO about the safety of providing such sensitive info outside their platform. Their AI tool warned me never to do it, yet the human representative I spoke with...

'The house itself was impeccably clean, offering a comfortable atmosphere. I especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. One of the beds was a bit squeaky, though. The surrounding environment was incredibly peaceful. Spending time in the backyard was lovely. Overall, it was a genuinely wonderful stay.'

There were no extra garbage bags left under the sink and we ran out of dish soap. With a little more attention to small details this house is perfect. Great location by the lake.'

'There was alot of spiders throughout the house and all over the ceiling. There was no cushioning on the outdoor chairs. The barbeque has very dirty. As we were cooking dinner the power went out and we had to use the barbeque and it affected our dinner. We called the owner,and the property manager came and reset the breaker in the garage.He threatened to call the police after we confronted him about all the problems after our stay.'
